Kids Matter: to Jesus and to Us

Many children in our community face challenges most of us can't imagine. That’s why for over 50 years, The Hope Center has been investing in the lives of kids all across Hagerstown. We’re here to make sure every child knows that God loves them and has a special purpose for their life.
​
Through Wildside Youth Ministries, we offer fun, educational, spiritual, and safe activities throughout the school year. Some events include football fun, March Madness basketball, Hot Wheels racing, and Easter egg hunts. And in the summer? We turn up the excitement with Camp Wild, one of the most action-packed, Christ-centered day camps around!

Best part? It’s all completely free.
Thanks to our amazing donors, every game, lesson, and life-changing moment comes at no cost to the kids we serve.

Each event is located at our Trinity Center located at 215 W. Church St. All events will be posted here on our website and on our social media so stay tuned!

Paul Lundy is the Director of Children and Youth at the Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission. He has eight years of experience as a youth pastor. He is a Cumberland Valley Christian School teacher with 19 years of experience teaching Physical Education and Middle School Mathematics. Paul has been the Director of the CVCS Sports Camps since 2006. Paul coaches Basketball, Soccer, and Baseball for teams and ages ranging from Elementary through Intercollegiate Athletics.
